Hi!
My name is Sunny Sal. I am the spokes-stick-person for Simple Abundance Yoga.

My humble start began with a Sharpie marker and the creative hand of Caitlyn Gilliland. Originally inspired to grace the cover of a Mother’s Day card, I was soon “discovered” as a perfect, happy representative of the Sun Salutation – a wonderful series of Yoga poses, linked with the breath. (Notice how I just glow all over when I think of that?!)

Before I knew it, my image was being recreated, both large and small, on business cards, coupons for free classes, brochures, and even the windows on the front and back of the studio. My most impressive modeling to date has been posing for the custom t-shirts made by Bob and Dianne Mallett of Vinyl Touch. I am all the buzz about town, as I grace the chests of the new students at Simple Abundance Yoga.

Hobbies & Interests: Recreating different versions of myself with assorted sized and colored markers, and of course, Yoga, as I feel I am a natural for moving through the asanas while still staying grounded – to the page.

Heroes: “Gecko” from the GEICO Insurance ads (I like his accent), and Gumby, because I like that he has a similar shape and ability to be flexible.

Fears: Erasers and White Out
